Trout currently ranks first in popularity among the salmon family — both among consumers and within the fish processing industry and HoReCa sector. What is its secret? Trout meat offers a perfectly balanced composition of beneficial nutrients and acids. It is juicy in taste, yet not as fatty as some other salmon species. Trout meat is rich in essential vitamins (A, D, B12) and indispensable amino acids. As a type of red fish, trout holds significant advantages over many other fish species. Its main benefit lies in its high content of unique natural substances — omega-3 fatty acids. When these substances are present in sufficient quantities in the diet, cholesterol levels remain stable, and blood vessels stay strong and elastic.
